Simon has worked extensively in the media industry for the past 18 years and has shot a wide range of award winning network programmes ranging from documentaries and factual, through to drama and commercials. Recent credits include When Piers met Lord Sugar, The Hairy Bikers, The F-word, Grand Designs, Secret Millionaire, Bang Goes The Theory, Digging for Britain and The Culture Show. His expertise extends from single to multi-camera work.

In January 2003 he was awarded a commendation for camera work by the Royal Television Society.

Working across many genres and for a plethora of industry giants and independent companies he has gained experience, skills and a reputation as a first class camera operator, camera supervisor and director of photography.

He established Smashing Glass Television in 1998 to provide filming requirements to the media industry. The company has grown from strength to strength. Today it provides up-to-date skills, the latest camera equipment and knowledge to shoot on a wide range of formats, for programmes, both home and abroad.
